The researchers, who tested the game-like application for a month, observed an improvement in memory scores of 40 percent in patients.
According to the Bahrain News Agency on the study published in the International Journal of Psychological and Neurological Medicine, the patients who played the game kept more complex visual information than patients who did not practice.
Many experts commended the results of this study and encouraged its future application to include other types of brain training in trials involving more people.
Symptoms associated with dementia include decreased memory, thinking, behavior and progressive loss of ability to perform daily tasks.[wp_ad_camp_2]
The drugs only contribute to the alleviation of the disease, which has become a global health problem, the number of which suffered until 2015 about 47.5 million people.
